Pennsylvania offers a treasure trove of unique American culture. Just outside of the immediate Hershey area you'll find a wide variety of things to do and see, from antique malls, Amish farms, breweries, and outdoor activities. Explore the local rivers and lakes with one of the several kayak rental shops in the area.

Indian Echo Caverns is a beautiful 440 million-year-old limestone cave that offers daily tours. Visitors can also enjoy access to a picnic area and free petting zoo.

If you're interested in learning about Amish culture, consider visiting one of the attractions in Lancaster, located about 35 miles south of Hershey. Lancaster also offers lots of great coffee shops and restaurants.
